Niagara Skydive opened in June 2001, when its owner, Tim Grech, gave up his corporate career to pursue his dream to run a full-time skydive centre in Ontario. After spending a year investigating several locations, Pelham was selected as the new home for the Niagara Skydive Centre.
The Niagara Central Airport provides a unique opportunity for a skydiving centre. It has two paved runways, and sufficient indoor space to create the largest facility in the country. The 416 acre property offers great infrastructure, enabling the Niagara Skydive Centre to operate at times when other centers are unable to operate due to poor conditions (such a soggy grass runways).
The Niagara Skydive Centre is Ontario's full time skydive centre, operating 7 days a week. We do not rely solely on part-time weekend instructors to operate. Our team is comprised of full-time and part-time professionals who have been trained to the highest standards established by the Canadian Sport Parachute Association (CSPA) and the United States Parachute Association (USPA).
