If you have any additional questions or concerns that we did not answer here, we encourage you to give us a call, or send us an email. Our knowledgeable staff would be more than happy to field all questions for you.

Why should I choose Niagara Skydive Centre?

Niagara Skydive Centre is Ontario’s Tandem Specialist. We are a full-time skydive centre operating 7 days a week, with professional instructors and commercial pilots on duty every day. Our facilities include a 16,000 sq. ft. indoor hanger and packing area, as well as two fully paved runways, which allow us to operate our aircraft when our competitors cannot, usually due to soft grass fields. Our jumpers are all Canadian Sport Parachuting Association (CSPA) and/or United States Parachute Association (USPA) certified for added piece of mind. We are also the only skydive centre in Ontario that includes an aerial tour of Niagara Falls on all jump flights to altitude! At around 6,000 feet, we are directly over Niagara Falls, and you get to witness a view of the Falls that very few people get to see! If you purchase a camera package, your photographer will get footage of the Falls from the aircraft as well. The scenic portion of our jump flights, around Niagara Falls, are weather and ATC restrictions permitting.

What are your days of operation?

We are a full-time dropzone, and are open 7 days a week May through October, including weekends and holidays. Our first time slots are at 9:00am daily, and we take reservations for every hour on the hour until 5:00pm during the summer months. During the autumn, we take reservations every hour on the hour until it gets dark. The time will vary depending on the time of year.

How do I get there?

We're within easy driving distance from most of the GTHA and Buffalo/Niagara regions! We're also close to major bus terminals, and are within Uber's Niagara service area. Whether you plan on driving, or taking public transit, we've put together a Transportation & Directions page to help you plan your trip. This information can be found by following these links:

Is public transportation available?

Public transportation is available, but not directly to or from the Niagara Central Airport. The closest stop connecting the rest of the Niagara Region (including the Niagara Falls Tourist Area), along with the Greater Toronto Area, is the Welland Terminal, located at 160 E Main Street, Welland. Both Niagara Region Transit and Megabus service this stop. Taxis or Uber can then be used to connect to our location. We've put together a guide with the most commonly asked-for public transit information, including links to schedules, to help you plan your trip. Is food available at the airport / dropzone?

There is limited service at the Niagara Central Airport. The Niagara Central Airport Authority maintains a self-service snackbar at the airport, with coffee, tea, pop, water, chocolates, crisps, and baked goods such as cookies and muffins available for purchase. Feel free to bring your own snacks and/or lunch, we have plenty of public picnic space available!

Due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, there is no food or beverage service at the airport. Please bring your own food, drinks and snacks.

How do I make a reservation? Do I need to pay a deposit?

You have two options:

1. Book online.  It's easy, secure and fast!

2. Give us a call at 1-866-564-5867, and we’d be happy to assist you. What we require at the time of booking is the number of people who will be jumping, the day and time of the jump, as well as a credit card number (Visa, MasterCard, or American Express). You will be charged a $50 deposit per person, plus tax.

Do I need to make a reservation to skydive, or can I just show up?

We strongly recommend that you call ahead and make a reservation for your intended date/time. Although walk-ins are welcome, you may have a long wait if you show up on a busy afternoon. Those with reservations get priority over walk-ins. Making a reservation books you a specific time slot, meaning that (barring unforeseen circumstances or weather delays) you will be able to jump.

What is Online Check-In?

Our online check-in platform, powered by Smartwaiver, allows you to complete all of your pre-jump paperwork from the comfort of your own home, saving you time when you arrive at the dropzone. Everything is paperless, and you do not have to print off or bring anything with you after completing online check-in.

If you would prefer to check-in in-person at the dropzone, you're welcome to do so, and can fill out your electronic paperwork using one of our check-in consoles at Manifest.

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, we strongly encourage you to check-in online at home. To minimise contact, we are attempting to reserve our check-in consoles at Manifest for those who do not have appropriate internet access at home.

I have a reservation, but I need to cancel it. What are my options?

Life sometimes forces us all to change our plans, and we entirely understand if you need to change or cancel your appointment. You are permitted to reschedule, or cancel, your appointment at any time, so long as you give us at least 48 hours notice, in which case your deposit is transferable. If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice, or simply do not show up for your appointment, any amount that has been paid as a deposit becomes non-transferable.

How far in advance can I make a reservation for?

The earlier you know, the earlier you can book. We take reservations far in advance of intended dates, and the sooner you book with us, the better your chances are at getting the date/time that works best for you.

How can I pay for my skydive?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Interac (Debit) and Cash for payment. We require a $50 deposit per person, plus tax, when making a reservation, and you will pay for the balance of your jump upon arrival at our dropzone. You can use a separate payment method when you arrive, it doesn't have to be the same card you used to pay for the deposit. All amounts paid are fully-transferable up until 48 hours before your reservation. Weather-related cancellations are handled separately, and are free to be rescheduled or canceled without penalty, even on the same day if it's because of bad weather.

I don’t want to jump alone. Can I bring friends with me to skydive?

Of course, the more the merrier! Groups of all sizes are welcome at our dropzone, and we offer preferential skydive rates for groups of more 5 people or more. We also offer incentives for group organisers. Give us a call to find out more!

What are your group rates?

For groups of 5-9 people, we offer a discount of $10 off per-person. Groups of 10 or more people get a discount of $20 off per-person. These discounts are applicable to both the tandem, and solo skydive options. Organisers of Tandem and PFF skydive groups with at least 5 people jumping will also receive a complimentary video of their skydive, which is a $125.00 value.

Are all skydive experiences available 7 days a week?

Tandem skydives are available 7 days a week, with reservations taken daily starting at 9:00am and time slots available every hour on the hour. The First Jump Course (FJC), which is the required ground school for the IAD Solo and PFF jumps, is offered exclusively on Saturdays, starting at 9:00am. Although you can complete IAD Solo and PFF jumps during the week, appointments are required, and space limited for PFF.

Can skydives be purchased as a gift?

They definitely can! We can issue gift certificates for tandem, or solo skydives, skydives including photo and/or video packages, or for a specific dollar amount. Gift certificates can be sent via post, or emailed to you as a PDF document.

Are spectators welcome?

Absolutely, you can bring as many people to watch as you want! We have plenty of indoor and outdoor space for spectators to relax and watch, as well as picnic space too.

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, we are asking that you bring as few spectators with you as possible.
